THERE IS A NEW KIND OF SLEEPER CELL
You've heard of terrorist cells. They are small groups of terrorists who work together to cause death and destruction in order to further their cause.
Sleeper cells are terrorist cells that are waiting patiently for their opportunity to strike.
How are we going to combat terrorism and protect our children and freedom in the future?
Traditional means just won't work!
Technology is advancing so rapidly that terrorists can share information and weapons so quickly and so secretly that we're always going to be one step behind...
Can you really scare them into submission? Can you ever kill enough of them? NO. In fact, the more you attack them, the more they righteous they feel in their cause, and the more willing they are to die to defeat
you, their enemy.
WAR AND INTIMIDATION ARE OUTDATED SOLUTIONS
In my opinion, we can't yet call ourselves "civilized." Even the most civilized of nations are still so quick to resort to the death and destruction of war.
Germany before Hitler and World War II was one of the most "civilized" nations on earth.
The United States before we dropped the Atomic bombs on Japan and imprisoned thousands of innocent Japanese-Americans was a "civilized" nation.
It's almost too late... we are not far from destroying ourselves altogether.
THE WAY WE THINK ABOUT THE PROBLEM IS THE PROBLEM
Just like your parents could beat you into submission and "good behavior," the U.S. can beat other nations into submission and "good behavior."
This solution leads to long-term problems though...
We find ourselves now with so many children and adults living in fear, reacting to fear, using violence out of fear, using fear to intimidate others...
AND, I AM SORRY, BUT RELIGION WON'T FIX IT
Everyone knows that religions have caused more wars and bloody massacres throughout history than anything else.
Even today in "civilized" nations we use God to justify war. As long as a majority of people in a democratic country can be convinced that the enemy is "Evil," then war is justified.
WHAT WILL CAUSE THE KIND OF CHANGE WE SEEK IN THE WORLD?
Just that!
The more we as individuals take more and more responsibility for BEING the change we seek in the world, the more we can create a world of peace and prosperity for our children.
That is what the Vision Revolution is all about!
Living a heroic life, inspired by your own vision for positive change...
BEING A VISIONARY.
Guess what? There ARE advanced methods for thinking and communication that can cause positive change, where everything else fails.
Nelson Mandella was part of a "terrorist" organization in South Africa, that did, at times, use violence and terror to get it's message heard.
Most terrorist organizations are made up of groups of people who have no voice or power to decide the fate or their people.
The British colonists who had that "Tea Party" in Boston a few centuries ago committed a "terrorist act" in the eyes of the king.
Yet, if not for such revolutionaries, black people in South Africa would still be living a miserable existence under Apartheid. The "free world" as we know it today might not exist.
I AM NOT ADVOCATING OR DEFENDING TERRORIST ACTS
But it is time we begin to look at the problems we face as human beings, one and all, rather than as divided and adversarial members of different countries, religions and groups.
Terrorist organizations LACK the thinking and communication skills to affect the kind of
change they seek in the world.
Gandhi defeated the greatest empire in the world, with 1) his vision, and 2) his skills as a visionary.
IT IS TIME WE STOP REVERING GANDHI
It is high time we stop seeing visionaries like Gandhi as somehow more blessed, gifted, talented, smarter or luckier than us.
IT IS TIME WE START REVERING THE NATURAL VISIONARY THAT LIES WITHIN EACH OF US
Let's stop pretending we are helpless heards of animals who need an army of shephards to feed us, guide us, protect us and control us.
We are not helpless.
We are visionaries.
All that is missing is the skill and the training to BE the change we seek in the world, to LIVE as visionaries, one and all.

Now, let me hint at a solution that I will suggest is just a possibility. To speak as if it is a reality already might endanger the cause. So, just use your imagination here...
VISIONARY CELLS
Imagine... people highly trained in the ways of vision... virtual vision jedis.
Secret small groups that form a sort of "Navy SEALS of Vision."
They seek out the conflicts among peoples and nations. They contact the activists and revolutionaries in secret...
For to do so publicly would damage the cause (for reasons I don't have time to explain here).
These Vision "warriors" could, for example, enter the Cindy Sheehan Anti-Iraq War Camp at night, and use
their skills to share a vision with such activists...
By morning, the members of the camp would be seeing a new vision... a vision that achieves their highest
purpose much more quickly, without causing the negative results they've been causing...
The camp has been trained overnight in the skills of visionary speaking, such that they can both prevent and
resolve destructive conflict, both with the "enemy" and amongst themselves. Then these newly trained visionaries go out into the world and BE the change they seek. They cause it, create it.
And then, like Nelson Mandella, these once-labelled "bad guy" activists or revolutionaries enter into the history books as heroes for all mankind.
SOUND LIKE A PIPE DREAM?
Fairy tales are nice, aren't they? This is not a far-out idealistic fantasy, or wishful thinking.
Perhaps you have never witnessed poeple who possess such visionary skills...
Perhaps you have never witnessed people who could teach others these skills in a matter of hours...

I have to acknowledge Michael Skye again for another profound and wonderful post. The post is most thought provocative and causes all kinds of movement within the Spirit of me. At one point I was jumping up and down cheering the new creation of Visionaries along...At another point I was becoming a Visionary and at another point I said ...I am going to comment on this won to acknowledge and Honor the post and everything that was said and stated. I am truely inspired and as I grab on to the Vision I am engulfed into this rushing tide of power that moves me from mind to Spirit. Seems like I was moved to a awakening from mind to this sudden awareness of being Alive....It is when I realized I am Alive...like full of Vision I found me....Inside their I am as sure as day...I am a Spirit....this voice within me rises and I notice the gallant path I trooded in my youth...free and high Spirited and I become me again...
Their is no question Michael Skyes work becomes life changeing...I wonder what the boot camp is like?
Iws their such a thing as the infiltration of Spirit, where the essence of Life overflows conflict and the Vision Revolutionists intate the thought and harmony with the Spirit to overide the conditioning of terrosim and create such understanding and awareness that the current within the sea engulfs humanity into its own metaphor of solutions as simple, yet complex as the DNA of humanity...Only the Spirit becomes the author and finisher of Life. That enlightment can enter into mankind as a wayward wind when the sails of the soul are set on course and navigated into the Great Visions that become Omnipscent and Omnipresence as the presence opf being of Visionary....It is when we fear no-more and that we are given the Vision tools necessary to become who we really are. May the golden light of sunset within your Spirit carry the Torch and flame within your Vision for you to become all that you are. May conditioning in the world transform into the quality that brings new mind set in the perspective of Vision as the Tides of Time become.
Michael, I really wonder if those terrorists would see your logic that you propose. In my eyes, I could not see you or any other visionary walking into a terrorist camp and walking back out with your head. These are third world Thugs and they only listen to one person at the head of their organization. Unfortunately I think the head of this operating Terrorist organization has more than one screw loose in his thinking. You will not change his mind, and he has so much direct control over his minions that you will not sway their thinking either. Maybe you can wait them out and hope they die off, but I really doubt it, because their idea is total control of the world. You would be totally under their direct guidance and if you stray then there is not enough punishment except death to suffer for it. The terrorists will help you with that quickly as they scream "Allah (God) is Great" while they sever your head from your body. They hate the Americans, their Freedoms, and their way of thinking because to them it is evil thinking. To them, we Americans will conform to their way or else die. No other choices are available. If you can get through to them, congrats!, but I think you would lose your head in the end! They do not care about you or your rants and raves. They want ethnic cleansing and that is all they know, according to their Koran and how "They" read it. Your "read" does not hold the same meaning; so your ideas are inconsistent with theirs; so you are in the wrong no matter how you believe. If you do not conform to their way of thinking then you must die.
As a "Warrior" giving in to ethnic cleansing, is no choice for this Warrior. To Strike before being struck is the Credo of any good warrior. A warrior never gives in to something they do not believe in, and fights to the end to protect the values he holds dearly, completely, and without remorse.This is how the terrorists believe, and they will come directly at you to destroy you if you do not give in to their way of thinking. If the televised beheading of Americans did not tell you this then it is possible that a directed example in front of you will convince you and they will oblige you of this method at any time. Of course, waiting on them to come to you is a bit on the late side, in my book. You are two steps behind them at that point.
Instead of a sleeper cell of visionaries, there needs to be fully active cells of visionaries working around the clock to prepare for the battle to be waged as of yet. This will be a "War of the wills" in my book not a "War of the minds", because the terrorists act with a bicameral mindset. In other words it is a see and react type of method and with no thought except as they were told to follow from their beliefs. Again your beliefs are evil to them, and they will react to that evil, and not think twice about it.
If civilization is to survive then we members need to take up our arms and protect ourselves and our loved ones. We can not back down from the threat and we must fight to the bitter end no matter the outcome.
