What Is Your God?
Please excuse me, I usually don't talk religion.
But I got an email this morning from a Christian who sees a contradiction between being a good Christian and living as a visionary. He means well.
He asked me, "Is vision your God?"
I want to share his email with you, because it is very interesting. If *you* really want to step into your greatness and live as a heroic being, a visionary, then read it carefully...
[Beginning of Email]
"Is vision you're God?
"It's what you place at the center
of your life? Vision is one aspect
of life. You've compartmentalized it
and turned it into you're Deity.
"What you've done is create another sin.
"That's not God's Purpose. Therefore your
actions are sinful.
"What about God's Vision for the future-
His Purpose? Have you over looked that,
for the ways of your own vision in a humanist
world?
"Do you really think you can add to the vision
and Purpose of the Future apart from the future
God purposefully intended?
"You don't have to recreate a new vision of the
future; it's already been created long before
we were here.
"Your not cutting edge, you only think you are.
[End of Email]
Now, what does his email have to do with you? Well, let me ask you... what religious beliefs do you have that keep you from taking a stand in the world? What religious beliefs do you have that keep you from stepping into your greatness?
Maybe you don't have religious beliefs, but you still carry the fear and guilt that stops so many good religious people from stepping into their greatness?
Jesus, Mother Theresa, Gandhi, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., etc., all lived as heroic beings and visionaries.
You can too. In fact, in my personal view point,it is a disgrace to them that we pretend we can't live as they lived... with Vision!
Walking our own paths in life, following our hearts, making a profound difference, inspiring others to greatness.
Do you want to pass your fear and guilt on to your children?
If we are to rise to our greatness and live heroic lives, as visionaries... And if our children are to live in a peaceful world where followers of different Gods aren't slaughtering millions of innocent people in the name of their God...
Can we continue to pretend that we are not powerful? Can we continue to play small? Can we continue to pretend that we do not havethe natural visionary power of people like Gandhi, Jesus, Mother Theresa... and Bill Gates?
The time is NOW. Every day that goes by without being true to a vision that calls you to greatness is lost forever.
The time is now. Together, we CAN create a world where children of all colors and religions can live in peace, with abundance and prosperity...
WITHOUT GUILT OR FEAR
We can raise the future generations to live as heroic beings who stay true to their own heroic vision of making a difference, andare not stopped by guilt, doubt or fear.
For thousands of years, we have lived in awe of the few great leaders, prophets and visionaries...
We have done our best to follow in their footsteps... Yet felt guilt or doubt or fear or shame whenever we didn't live as well as they did... and then pretended as if we are powerless, incompetent... Sinners.
If there is a sin in this world, it is forhuman beings to play small. To hide from your greatness, helps no one.
May I quote Marianne Williamson from her book, A Return to Love?
Our greatest fear is not that we are inadequate,
but that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us.
We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant,
gorgeous, handsome, talented and fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking
so that other people won't feel insecure around you.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God within us.
It is not just in some; it is in everyone.
And, as we let our own light shine, we consciously give
other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our fear,
our presence automatically liberates others.
It is rumoured that freedom fighter, Nelson Mandela, read the same quote in his inagural speech after being imprisoned for years and called a terrorist.
My friend, if we are each to take a stand for something in this world, as Mandela did and does, it means risking something. It means facing our fears. It means not living in fear of those who will call us names.
Movements such as the Vision Force are committed to have every human being find their vision and step into their greatness.
For it is only when each of us steps into our greatness that we will find ourselves living in peace and prosperity. Even if the rest of the world does not change, it is worth it... it is worth the effort and risk it takes to LIVE in life as a visionary... as a heroic being... as someone who takes a stand for something.
I am here now, standing for you and your greatness. And I will until the day I die.

My God will not be discussed in a blog. Since Mr. Skye exposes so much of himself here, I'll talk about him instead.
The amount of material written under the name Michael Ivan Skye with the word vision and its many forms included would give one the impression that he is quite fixated not only on the idea of vision, but other ideas as well. The world is not made of ideas, as has been shown in the great conversation over time known as philosophy. It is made of flesh and blood and rock and rain and those things aren't contained in blogs or "academies," which are really idealist indoctrination sessions. See Landmark, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, and Scientology for more information.
Mr. Skye, I suggest you feed the homeless or donate some time to troubled youth rather than make money off of the philosophically and spiritually lost. I am a leader, a visonary, a philosopher, and professional firefighter who takes care of a disabled woman and grandafather, and am a mentor to young people through my work. I have a lot to say about the things you write here about, but I usually don't because I'm too busy working in the world of flesh and blood and rock and rain, and because I don't need a "Vision Force Academy" to become authentic and take charge of my life with power and love. You spend far too much time going on and on, sending e-mails, and further creating your world of ideals while the dirty work of doing homecare or putting out a fire remains for the rest of us.
I, for one, really enjoy reading Michael's writings. He has a wonderfully positive and inspirational way of writing. And he has tried to set the example for all of us as to how we should be able to discuss various topics without getting defensive, although there always seems to be some who miss that. It is only when we all learn to accept the differences in others that we will have more peace and happiness within our own lives. I do believe in God, and I also believe that the Bible is correct when it says that "Man has dominated man to his injury." Ec. 8:9 No amount of wars or peace treaties will ever bring about peace as long as men continue to try to rule each other. But that doesn't mean we can't each be responsible for taking control of our own lives, making them as meaningful, positive, and valuable as possible, whatever that may be for each of us. Many just seem to get stuck in lives full of excuses, always playing the victim, when they don't really have to. Michael is trying to show those people they have power in the choices they make. We all have to be responsible for the choices we make, and there will always be those who don't agree with the choices made by others, but as long as those choices don't disrespect the value of life then we should be able to respect the right to make those choices. Unfortunately, some people have a habit of going through life looking for a reason to be offended, instead of deciding to be happy. I do realize, however, that some people end up with overwhelming responsibilities and situations beyond their control, and that can be frustrating, and can lead to striking out negativly at others. What I am trying to say is that, as mentors to the people we know and meet, it would benefit us to set fine examples by learning to discuss our differences in a positive way, rather than getting defensive.
After reading the comment e-mail regarding Vision as a diety and the e-mail discusion of Vision. I absolutely and totaly dis-agree. I have een a follower of the Messiah for years and years and I have never heard of such a apualing statement as expressed in the e-mail in opposition to what the Truth of Vision is and also in perspective to Christianity.
I beleive when the Messiah "run the race for the high calling of God"...I think Jesus was talking about Vision. I think that Christ demonstrated "Vision Revolution". In the "Passion of the Christ" I think it is self explanatory that it was the lack of Vision that crusfied the only great Vision that is....The Vision of the Spirit to be free from the Tryanny of opression and supression within the endarken minds that have not the Light that is within Vision to reach The Kingdom of Heaven within."It is through a re-newing of mind that the essence of the word of God brought revelations as a Divine Encounter with God. Vision is not a diety, rather Vision is a encounter and a personal experience with the "Passion of the Christ." also..the motion picture movie "The Revolutionist" is from beginng to end about this Vision revolutionist..the story of the Messiah. The messiahnic mission of of "The Greatest Story ever Told" is filled with Vision to Vision and how to become united to the Spirit within given after penecost..."The Spirit of Truth" Christ spoke dirrectly to the pharsies of the time and they not what he was talking about. Jesus called them blind scribes...They were blind and death and dumb.
It was tragic for the minds of the age to be so conditioned that their conditioning killed Love and were so set on righteious indignation that they became their own force of diety within the conditioning of the way thought.
It is the most absurb concept I have ever heard that "anonymous" has said. Visision is neither diety or contray to any religious beleive nor the Christ. On the contray Michaels Skyes writing and technology is in balance to the teaching of Christ and Christs holy order of Melchesdec'...
I beleive people whom are incapable of being able to percieve the Visionary state within the Spirit can become like the pharsies, like the Zealots and in this day and age"Legalist" who neither understand or are able to be born again because they cannot receive the Spirit of Vision and postion their indiviual idealisms because they are afaird to recieve Love at the level of"The Passion of the Christ"...
Where their is Passion their is Love and where this is their is Vision and where that is their is the redeeming power of the Passion of the Christ". I think Mel Gibson rocked the planet in the Truth of his Vision.....and I think Michael Skye walks with Mel Gibson and I think "Anonymous" is not only in left field with his obsurb desertation..I think it demenstrates exactly what Christ was up against, the lack of understanding...
Vision is a feeling generation and is exactly the place where religion should deliver people to...the place of re-newing of mind....This Christ Conciousness..
Let me quote from the word of God:
"The Message" translation eugene Peterson.
JOHN
John 1
THE LIFE LIGHT
.....the Life Light blazed into the darkness; the darkness could not put it out....There once was a man, his name was John, sent by God to point the way to the Life- Light. He came to show everyone where to look, who to beleive in. John was not himself the Light, he was there to show the way to the Light. The Life-Light was the real thing; Every person entering LIfe he brings into Light, He was in the world, the world was there through him,...And yet the world didn't even notice...He came to his own people, But they Didn't Want Him.....But whoever did want Him, who beleived he was who he claimed and would do what he said...He made to be their true selves...
these are the God-begotten.....
John 5-12
