THERE IS A NEW KIND OF SLEEPER CELL

You've heard of terrorist cells. They are small groups of terrorists who work together to cause death and destruction in order to further their cause.

Sleeper cells are terrorist cells that are waiting patiently for their opportunity to strike.

How are we going to combat terrorism and protect our children and freedom in the future?

Traditional means just won't work!

Technology is advancing so rapidly that terrorists can share information and weapons so quickly and so secretly that we're always going to be one step behind...

Can you really scare them into submission? Can you ever kill enough of them? NO. In fact, the more you attack them, the more they righteous they feel in their cause, and the more willing they are to die to defeat
you, their enemy.

WAR AND INTIMIDATION ARE OUTDATED SOLUTIONS

In my opinion, we can't yet call ourselves "civilized." Even the most civilized of nations are still so quick to resort to the death and destruction of war.

Germany before Hitler and World War II was one of the most "civilized" nations on earth.

The United States before we dropped the Atomic bombs on Japan and imprisoned thousands of innocent Japanese-Americans was a "civilized" nation.

It's almost too late... we are not far from destroying ourselves altogether.

THE WAY WE THINK ABOUT THE PROBLEM IS THE PROBLEM

Just like your parents could beat you into submission and "good behavior," the U.S. can beat other nations into submission and "good behavior."

This solution leads to long-term problems though...

We find ourselves now with so many children and adults living in fear, reacting to fear, using violence out of fear, using fear to intimidate others...

AND, I AM SORRY, BUT RELIGION WON'T FIX IT

Everyone knows that religions have caused more wars and bloody massacres throughout history than anything else.

Even today in "civilized" nations we use God to justify war. As long as a majority of people in a democratic country can be convinced that the enemy is "Evil," then war is justified.

WHAT WILL CAUSE THE KIND OF CHANGE WE SEEK IN THE WORLD?

Just that!

The more we as individuals take more and more responsibility for BEING the change we seek in the world, the more we can create a world of peace and prosperity for our children.

That is what the Vision Revolution is all about!

Living a heroic life, inspired by your own vision for positive change...

BEING A VISIONARY.

Guess what? There ARE advanced methods for thinking and communication that can cause positive change, where everything else fails.

Nelson Mandella was part of a "terrorist" organization in South Africa, that did, at times, use violence and terror to get it's message heard.

Most terrorist organizations are made up of groups of people who have no voice or power to decide the fate or their people.

The British colonists who had that "Tea Party" in Boston a few centuries ago committed a "terrorist act" in the eyes of the king.

Yet, if not for such revolutionaries, black people in South Africa would still be living a miserable existence under Apartheid. The "free world" as we know it today might not exist.

I AM NOT ADVOCATING OR DEFENDING TERRORIST ACTS

But it is time we begin to look at the problems we face as human beings, one and all, rather than as divided and adversarial members of different countries, religions and groups.

Terrorist organizations LACK the thinking and communication skills to affect the kind of
change they seek in the world.

Gandhi defeated the greatest empire in the world, with 1) his vision, and 2) his skills as a visionary.

IT IS TIME WE STOP REVERING GANDHI

It is high time we stop seeing visionaries like Gandhi as somehow more blessed, gifted, talented, smarter or luckier than us.

IT IS TIME WE START REVERING THE NATURAL VISIONARY THAT LIES WITHIN EACH OF US

Let's stop pretending we are helpless heards of animals who need an army of shephards to feed us, guide us, protect us and control us.

We are not helpless.

We are visionaries.

All that is missing is the skill and the training to BE the change we seek in the world, to LIVE as visionaries, one and all.

A RADICAL SOLUTION - A NEW KIND OF SLEEPER CELL

Now, let me hint at a solution that I will suggest is just a possibility. To speak as if it is a reality already might endanger the cause. So, just use your imagination here...

VISIONARY CELLS

Imagine... people highly trained in the ways of vision... virtual vision jedis.

Secret small groups that form a sort of "Navy SEALS of Vision."

They seek out the conflicts among peoples and nations. They contact the activists and revolutionaries in secret...

For to do so publicly would damage the cause (for reasons I don't have time to explain here).

These Vision "warriors" could, for example, enter the Cindy Sheehan Anti-Iraq War Camp at night, and use
their skills to share a vision with such activists...

By morning, the members of the camp would be seeing a new vision... a vision that achieves their highest
purpose much more quickly, without causing the negative results they've been causing...

The camp has been trained overnight in the skills of visionary speaking, such that they can both prevent and
resolve destructive conflict, both with the "enemy" and amongst themselves. Then these newly trained visionaries go out into the world and BE the change they seek. They cause it, create it.

And then, like Nelson Mandella, these once-labelled "bad guy" activists or revolutionaries enter into the history books as heroes for all mankind.

SOUND LIKE A PIPE DREAM?

Fairy tales are nice, aren't they? This is not a far-out idealistic fantasy, or wishful thinking.

Perhaps you have never witnessed poeple who possess such visionary skills...

Perhaps you have never witnessed people who could teach others these skills in a matter of hours...

Perhaps you have never experienced your own power using these skills in your own life, marriage or business to break through barriers you NEVER thought possible.

GUESS WHAT?

But I got an email this morning from a Christian who sees a contradiction between being a good Christian and living as a visionary. He means well.

He asked me, "Is vision your God?"

I want to share his email with you, because it is very interesting. If *you* really want to step into your greatness and live as a heroic being, a visionary, then read it carefully...

"Is vision you're God?

"It's what you place at the center
of your life? Vision is one aspect
of life. You've compartmentalized it
and turned it into you're Deity.

"What you've done is create another sin.
"That's not God's Purpose. Therefore your
actions are sinful.

"What about God's Vision for the future-
His Purpose? Have you over looked that,
for the ways of your own vision in a humanist
world?

"Do you really think you can add to the vision
and Purpose of the Future apart from the future
God purposefully intended?

"You don't have to recreate a new vision of the
future; it's already been created long before
we were here.

"Your not cutting edge, you only think you are.

Now, what does his email have to do with you? Well, let me ask you... what religious beliefs do you have that keep you from taking a stand in the world? What religious beliefs do you have that keep you from stepping into your greatness?

Maybe you don't have religious beliefs, but you still carry the fear and guilt that stops so many good religious people from stepping into their greatness?

Jesus, Mother Theresa, Gandhi, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., etc., all lived as heroic beings and visionaries.
You can too. In fact, in my personal view point,it is a disgrace to them that we pretend we can't live as they lived... with Vision!

Walking our own paths in life, following our hearts, making a profound difference, inspiring others to greatness.

Do you want to pass your fear and guilt on to your children?

If we are to rise to our greatness and live heroic lives, as visionaries... And if our children are to live in a peaceful world where followers of different Gods aren't slaughtering millions of innocent people in the name of their God...

Can we continue to pretend that we are not powerful? Can we continue to play small? Can we continue to pretend that we do not havethe natural visionary power of people like Gandhi, Jesus, Mother Theresa... and Bill Gates?

The time is NOW. Every day that goes by without being true to a vision that calls you to greatness is lost forever.

The time is now. Together, we CAN create a world where children of all colors and religions can live in peace,with abundance and prosperity...

WITHOUT GUILT OR FEAR

We can raise the future generations to live as heroic beings who stay true to their own heroic vision of making a difference, andare not stopped by guilt, doubt or fear.

For thousands of years, we have lived in awe of the few great leaders, prophets and visionaries...
We have done our best to follow in their footsteps... Yet felt guilt or doubt or fear or shame whenever we didn't live as well as they did... and then pretended as if we are powerless, incompetent... Sinners.

If there is a sin in this world, it is forhuman beings to play small. To hide from your greatness, helps no one.

May I quote Marianne Williamson from her book, A Return to Love?

Our greatest fear is not that we are inadequate,
but that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us.
We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant,
gorgeous, handsome, talented and fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking
so that other people won't feel insecure around you.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God within us.
It is not just in some; it is in everyone.
And, as we let our own light shine, we consciously give
other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our fear,
our presence automatically liberates others.

It is rumoured that freedom fighter, Nelson Mandela, read the same quote in his inagural speech after being imprisoned for years and called a terrorist.

My friend, if we are each to take a stand for something in this world, as Mandela did and does, it means risking something. It means facing our fears. It means not living in fear of those who will call us names.

Movements such as the Vision Force are committed to have every human being find their vision and step into their greatness.

For it is only when each of us steps into our greatness that we will find ourselves living in peace and prosperity. Even if the rest of the world does not change, it is worth it... it is worth the effort and risk it takes to LIVE in life as a visionary... as a heroic being... as someone who takes a stand for something.

I am here now, standing for you and your greatness. And I will until the day I die.
